A fantastic opportunity to by this traditional village house in the village of Capileira, voted one of Spains prettiest villages. The property has been renovated but maintains all it original charm and character. Affording fantastic views over the rooftops and towards the Poqueira Valley, and ideal place for a long lazy lunch soaking up the nature and sound of the goat bells in the distance.

Outside and on the lower ground floor in what was once the stable for the donkey, there is now a wonderful guest bedroom, ideal for those hot August nights as it is essentially below ground and maintains a lovely cool temperature. There is also a shower room with walk in shower. Also a storage area come workshop.

Location

The highest of the 'Three White Villages" in the Barranco de Poqueira, at 1,436m, Capileira is a good base for walking in the gorge itself or up to the Sierra Nevada. It's twisting, steep streets are dotted with many springs gushing with fresh mountain water and there are superb views of the Poqueira gorge and the Sierra Nevada everywhere you look. With a population of 600, it′s also the largest of the three villages in the Poqueira gorge – the others being Bubión and Pampaneira – and it has a good choice of accommodation and bars. Malaga airport around a two hour drive, and the beaches of the Costa Tropical around one hour.
