Because the property is in the mountains you will need transportation to get to the Villages, Almunecar and any other place.

For walkers and wild life lovers, the Sierra Almijara and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada offer some wonderful walking throughout the year. Keen birdwatchers will regularly see such birds as kestrels, brown eagles, hoopoe birds, honey buzzards and many other varieties seldom seen in Northern Europe nowadays.

Other nearby beauty spots include waterfalls near Otivar and the wildlife park in the Peña Escrita. A beautiful secluded bay about 20 minutes drive away is an ideal place for enjoying the sun and swimming, followed by a mojito and tapas at one of the picturesque beach bars.

Traditional white Andalusian villages are situated in the Alpujarra mountains about an hour´s drive from the villa.

For those who enjoy a game of golf, there is a golf course located about 15 minutes drive away in Granada Beach .

A one hour drive will take you to The Alhambra and cultural attractions of Granada.

The Sierra Nevada is also only 1 hour away, where you can ski some part of the year.
