LOCATION

The property is situated around a 20 minute drive from the nearest village of Torvizcon, where there are shops, post office, bank, petrol station, hotel and bars. Around 45 minutes to the coast at Castell de ferro. Cadiar is around 30 minutes drive and Orgiva 40 minutes from the house.

Torvizcón is a municipality of Spain in the province of Granada , autonomous community of Andalusia , of area 51 km2 with population of 799 inhabitants (2007) and population density of 15,68 hab / km ². 

The municipality counts on a church, the one of Our Lady of the Rosary, of century XV1, of Mudejar Style (that incorporates influences, elements or materials of Hispano Muslim Style ).

Some historians consider that in this territory already existed a population in the time of the Roman Empire , with the name of Turidianum. Later, during the Arab domination, Torvizcón reached a remarkable splendor thanks to its agriculture. There silk was also produced and vineyards were grown to export grapes.

With the Christian reconquest and later expulsion of the Moors, the city suffered a fall in the population number. In this region has originated the Family Escudero
