Location

The property is situated near the white villages of Bubion and Capileira in the sunny southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Capileira is the largest of the three towns situated in the Poqueira Valley, and offers a good range of facilities with a school, bank with ATM, doctor’s surgery and pharmacy, three small supermarkets, butcher, baker, and other small shops, restaurants, and quite a few bars and cafes.

Although a high mountain village, Capileira is easily accessed, at approximately an hour’s drive to the Costa Tropical and approx. 80 minutes’ drive to Granada, an excellent motorway joining the city of Granada to the coast. Malaga and its international airport is approx. 2 hours away.
